With our Brides Against Breast Cancer slogan and logo, Bella Amore Events is proud to be a team sponsor of the National Series Breast Cancer Survivor Recognition Program at Komen Race for the Cure events, the world's largest series of 5K runs and fitness walks.
In October 2007, Komen for the Cure celebrated 25 years leading the fight against breast cancer. Together with its affiliate network, corporate partners and various donors, Komen has invested nearly $1 billion in research, education, screening and treatment since 1982. The organization has pledged to invest another billion over the next 25 years. In that time, 25 million people will be diagnosed with breast cancer and 10 million will die. In an effort to support the organization's ongoing mission, and in celebration of Komen's achievements over the past 25 years, Bella Amore Events matches past and present client donations up to $50.00 to Komen for the Cure.
Bella Amore Events is committed to supporting Komen for the Cure's promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever. Our first annual event took place at the Susan G. Komen Race for a Cure in Baltimore, MD in October 2007 where Bella Amore staff, clients, and other local wedding vendors participated. Bella Amore Events contributed T-shirts and tote bags to the Race's participants and is proud to say that over $1,000 was raised and donated by the Bella Amore Events Brides Against Breast Cancer team members, family, and friends.
